Follow in Alfred Barnard's footsteps and discover the whisky landscape of Edinburgh in the late 1800s.
Our route will take us from Haymarket to Stockbridge, via the picturesque Dean Village, covering the history of three of Edinburgh's lost distilleries together with stories of Scotch whisky brands of yesteryear.
At the end of the tour, we'll head to renowned chef Colin Hinds' Whisky Forager to enjoy four drams - three from the 1960s, 1970s and/or 1980s as well as an exclusive offering from the bar - all carefully selected to illustrate the area's wonderful whisky heritage.
Each walking tour will last approximately 60 minutes and the whisky tasting afterwards will last approximately 45 minutes.
You'll also have the opportunity to indulge in an exclusive two course Whisky Forager lunch afterwards. Advance booking is required - please see available options on the booking page.
Our Stockbridge Whisky Trail tours can also be booked as private tours for small groups - please get in touch for more details!
